Payments, Reservations and Other Information

  • Reservations are first come first serve. Your date and tea items are not reserved until the deposit is made    

  • A deposit of 50% is required to hold a reservation and tea items. The remainder of balance is due 5 business days prior to party date. Balance can be paid in cash on delivery or pick up. No checks accepted day of party

  • We take LAST MINUTE rental orders-Call us to see if tea items are available. In this case deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred to another party date

  • Deposits are refundable – see cancellations

  • MasterCard, VISA, AMEX, Pay pal, Checks and Cash are accepted

  • All returned checks are subject to a return check fee of $35.00

  •   Special containers are provided to insure that you receive the tea ware in near perfect condition as possible

  •  All tea ware should be free of food and drink before repacked in the containers provided at delivery

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Tea ware cancellation-Once the deposit is made it secures 50% of each item listed, you may remove an item 10 business days before event date for full refund, after the 10 days the deposit on that item will be forfeited. Items on the contract may increase or decrease only. All orders are to have final quantities confirmed with Rent A Tea Party by the client 7 business days prior to event. Decreases will not be accepted after the 7 days. Once an order leaves our premises full charges apply.

  • Cancellation of complete party policy-Orders cancelled within 20 days prior to the schedued delivery date will incur a cancellation fee equal to 25% of total invoice. Orders cancelled 10 busienss days prior to the scheduled delivery date will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total invoice. Orders cancelled the day of scheduled delivery will incur a cancellation charge equal to 100% of the total invoice.

  • Refunds will be refunded within 7 business days of cancellations

  • We take LAST MINUTE rental orders-Call us to see if dates and tea items are available. In this case deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred to another party date.

  • Refunds are not given for unused items.

Services We Provide


  • We would be happy to set up your tea tables for your perfect tea party for a fee starting at only $25.00. Please contact us for more details

  • Think you may be too tired to clean and pack up the tea ware after your tea party? We can do it for you. Break down fee starts at $25.00 Contact us for details

Delivery or Pick-up

  • Rent A Tea Party would be happy to deliver all tea items to your party location. Depending on location distance there is a delivery fee. If you choose to have our staff set up your tea tables you will receive a discount on delivery fee
  • There is a $100.00 minimum order to deliver to location
  • Pick-up times are on appt only and must be brought back to Rent A Tea Party the next Monday after your tea party between 10am -3pm. Please contact us for more details. If needed, different pick up or drop off times can be arranged
  • Rental prices are for a 24 hour period unless picked up from office or other arrangements are made to fit your need. There is a $25.00 fee for each day not returned when specified
  • When picking up from office we ask for a credit card to put on file in case of loss or damage. It will only be charged with your knowledge
  • If rental order is not returned on agreed upon day and time you will be charged half the amount of your rental cost for everyday not returned
  • If the items are not ready for pickup from location on time and day agreed upon Renter will be responsible to bring items back to Chino Hills location same day otherwise half amount of rental will be charged for everyday not returned
  •  Items MUST be packed in containers prior to driver pickup. If Items are not in containers when driver arrives there will be a $50.00 charge for cleanup

Tea Service

  • Let Rent A Tea Party come and serve your guests, we will supply experienced, professional, friendly staff for your event. Contact us for details  and costs. Costs are estimated on hours of service needed and guest amount

    (Includes- setup of tea station and teapots, brewing and serving tea to your guests and cleanup of tea station and teapots) *Does not include gratuity


Damaged, Lost, or Broken Items

  • The renter is responsible for the retail value in case of loss of items while in their possession

  • The renter is responsible for value of tea ware if broken and pieces are brought back to company. Rental cost will be applied to value

  • The renter is responsible- To return any items that were not re-packed in containers when picked up by Rent A Tea Party. Also, in the case of sending personal china with Rent A Tea Party the renter is responsible to pick up or pay extra fees to get items back.

        Security is the renter's responsibility. Tea items must be protected from disappearance and weather related damage  while in your possession.

If you require a longer rental period, please contact our office for rate information. All charges are for time out whether equipment is used or not.

In the event that an item you reserve becomes unavailable due to loss or damage prior to your rental, we will make every effort to substitute an item of equal or greater value after discussing the matter with you.

All equipment is clean, sanitized and table ready.
